We had our big ultrasound appointment today and found out we are having a girl. It was so fun to see her; she has gotten a lot bigger since our last ultrasound at 12 weeks. She was pretty active, moving her arms and legs around and sucking her thumb for a bit. At one time, she was giving us the #1 with her finger. You can see it in one of the pictures I have above. Her size is on track with how far along I am, and we are on schedule for a due date around August 2nd. Now that we know the gender, it's time to get moving on the nursery. Our plan for the weekend is to get the carpet tore up and get new floors put down. We are going to look at bamboo and cork flooring as options tomorrow.
