We spent the morning at the Apple Orchard with our friends, The Kalberer's and The Kocian's. The kids had a blast.

June and July Update

This summer is going so quickly. Lily and I just got home from a 3 week vacation at Grandma and Grandpa Ebert's. We spent our time at the lake swimming, going boating, and eating out!! We took Lily to Paul Bunyan and watched many of Uncle Dan's Races. Lily experienced the Nisswa Turle Races for the first time and we even make the news. Lily is so, so, so much fun! She runs everywhere and is loud like daddy :) Some of her favorite sayings are: *Mommy Lisa come here! *Daddy Levi come here! *Oh, o.k. ! *Who's that? - to every person we see.. *No, I don't! *Paul Bunyan says, Hi Lily !
Potty Training is going better than I expected. She has been going pretty consistently for about a month on and off, but today I decided to do away with the diapers. Lily had her big girl underwear on and she stayed dry all day, even during our trip to the Mall of America. We had to buy daycare the same potty seat that she uses at home because she refused to go there. So now, the potty travels with us everywhere because she won't use the public ones. Hopefully, that doesn' last long.

May Update

May has been a very busy month! Levi and I traveled to Mexico for a wedding and were gone for 6 days. Lily stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Ebert in Brainerd and had a blast. Lily is talking, talking, talking and it's so fun to carry on conversations with her. This past Memorial Day Weekend, we were up at the lake.

The highlight of the trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house was the daily visit to see the school busses. Lily is obsessed with them.

Lily went to the flower shop and picked out her very own flower to plant with Grandma.

20 Months Old

Lily is 20 Months old and keeping us very busy; go, go, go!


We are loving the warm weather and spending lots of time at the park and playing on the deck. The digger at the park and the slide are two of Lily's favorite things.

Lily is learning so many new things at school, it's amazing. She knows so many words and puts them together to form short phrases. As a mom, it's great to finally know what Lily wants, instead of guessing. Especially, when it comes to eating and drinking.

Lily is leaning her ABC's. As of tonight, she can get about half way through. This video is about a month old, when she was first learning them.

Lily is 1.5 years old today!!!

Today, Lily turned 1.5 !! I can't believe how fast she is growing up. Her latest milestones are reading her books and pointing out pictures. She can find her favorite animals and has started to name the colors of her blocks. I'm happy to report that last week was the first time Lily didn't cry when I dropped her off at school!!!! She gets really excited when we get out of the car and can't wait to go into her class. Lily has FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. She goes to bed around 8:00 p.m. at sleeps all night. Who would have thought that it would take 18 months for her to figure it out.


Today, I was in the other room and Lily got really quiet in the living room. When I came out, she had all the kleenex taken out of the box.


As I was getting ready, Lily decided she wanted to wear my shoes.

17 months, going on 2 years old!!

Lily is such a busy little girl these days! She continues to love and nurture her babies. From putting paci's in their mouths, to feeding them bottles and covering them up in her blanket.


This past weekend, my parent's were visiting and brought Bella with. Lily was so excited to see her dog. Sadly, for Lily and Daddy, Bella will be leaving later this afternoon. Yesterday, we spend some time at the Mall of America. Lily and Grandma Levi started class last week, and goes Monday - Wednesday nights. By Wednesday, Lily and I were bored and needed to get out of the house. We went to Petsmart to see all the animals. My little animal lover had so much fun. She loved the guinea pigs, cats, fish and birds.
