What we have been up to...

Last weekend, we spent Friday and Sunday in Brainerd. Lily is starting to enjoy playing on the floor kicking her hands and feet. Saturday, we attended a wedding in Detroit Lakes. Lily loved all the attention from friends, and made it until 8:30 at which time we called it a night. Back home, Lily received a gift of a new play mat. She absolutely Loves playing on this. She is starting to grab the toys and is obsessed with looking at herself in the mirror.
Lily is finally starting to enjoy her swing! Levi plays in a flag football league, so Lily and I went to cheer him on.

Many firsts for Lily

Last week, Lily took her first nap in her crib. I put her in there when she wasn't quite asleep and she spent the first 15 minutes looking around at things. When she was bored with that, she fell asleep. She is so good about putting herself to sleep both for naps and in the night. For this I am so thankful!

Saturday, Lily attended her first Gopher Football Game! It was a beautiful fall day to be outside. She was so content in the Baby Bjorn, that she slept through the entire game. I think she secretly knew they were going to lose, and she couldn't stand the thought of watching it ;) With just one visit, Lily has already decided that she likes the campus and will be pledging Kappa Kappa Gamma in the fall of 2028 !!

Sunday, Levi's dad came to the Twins Game with us. Lily has yet to be at a game, and enjoyed it so much. The cheering doesn't seem to bother her at all, I guess she's used to hearing her daddy cheer / yell at the t.v.

Lily and dad were so tired when we got home they fell asleep right away.

A trip to the fair !

Saturday we took Lily to the MN State Fair! Levi carried Lily in the Baby Bjorn; they both loved it. With our many stops at the food stands, Lily was content with sleeping. Some of the highlights of our day were riding in the skyride that brought us above the fair to the other side, and looking at the baby animals in the Miracle of Life Building.
