Nursery Update

The nursery is almost done!!!! I have been waiting for 6 weeks to get the letters for above her bed. A lady painted them for me and I love the way they turned out. I'm waiting on one last shelf to go on the wall and then we are finished. When we get back from ND, I'm going to start washing her clothes and get the dresser and closet organized for the 10th time.

34 Weeks

It's hard to believe that I have only 6 weeks left to go. I have been out of school a little over a week, and am constantly working on the nursery. I'm waiting on a few more items for the wall of her room, but everything else is ready to go. I find myself re-arranging her drawers, re-folding clothes, and looking at all of her great stuff on a daily basis! Levi and I picked out a carseat and stroller tonight, and will be bringing the carseat to Bismarck over the 4th of July just in case...

I have been feeling good; it's nice to be home each day and not on my feet teaching. Speaking of feet, the poor things are starting to get swollen :( I'm still holding out hope that I don't get kancals anytime soon.

Baby Shower

A few of my girlfriends hosted a lovely baby shower luncheon on Saturday, June 5th at WA Frost in St. Paul.

31 Weeks

31 weeks down, 9 more to go! We can now see the baby's hand and foot when she kicks or moves around. At this point, she weighs about 3.5 pounds. I love being able to feel her move and when she kicks, I can put my hand on her and she will often kick back. 7 more days of school left, not that I'm counting... I have been busy packing up my room and getting it ready for the teacher who will take my place next year. Although I'm going to miss my co-workers and the kids, I feel so lucky to be able to take the year off. It's definitely a bitter sweet ending to a fantastic school year. I'm looking forward to my baby shower luncheon on Saturday. Stay tuned for updates from the shower and pictures :)
